Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions including talent acquisition employee relations benefits administration and compliance with employment laws. This position requires a strong understanding of human capital management and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process including job postings interviewing and onboarding new employees.
  • Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Administer employee evaluations and performance management processes.
  • Handle employee relations issues providing guidance and support to both employees and management.
  • Ensure compliance with FMLA OSHA and other employment and labor laws.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support organizational goals.
  • Administer benefits programs and assist employees with benefits-related inquiries.
  • Utilize HRIS systems such as Workday Paychex or ADP for data entry and workforce management.
  • Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Collaborate on strategic planning initiatives related to organization design and talent management.
  • Participate in affirmative action planning and succession planning efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records of HR activities ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in human resources management or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of employment & labor law human capital management and HR best practices.
  • Familiarity with ATS systems such as iCIMS or Taleo is preferred.
  • Proficient in data collection analysis and reporting using tools like Oracle HCM or SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage conflict effectively.
  • Experience with payroll systems such as Kronos or UltiPro is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
