This is a role with significant and varied responsibilities including the opportunity to engage directly with senior leaders and directors. We seek a well organised and analytical person with seven plus years relevant experience in the financial services industry in a product and/or compliance role. Youll be comfortable working in a highly regulated environment have articulate written work and sound communication skills with the ability to build relationships and lead internal and external engagements. A high level of attention to detail and knowledge of the funds management industry and obligations and legislation relevant to managed funds are essential.
In this role you will
Support the Senior Manager Product & Compliance and the wider business with the ongoing product compliance management and compliance generally. This may include:
- Management co-ordination and preparation of ongoing product compliance obligations and disclosure
- Support the development of new and existing products
- Stakeholder engagement both internally and externally
- Co-ordination and preparation of reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory obligations and business requirements
- Maintenance of effective systems and processes to ensure product obligations are met.
- Review of promotional and general communication material
- Transaction support for private asset investment
- Broader compliance work including for example leading significant projects to respond to regulatory change or uplift compliance maturity
Youll have
- Relevant experience in the fund management / financial services industry
- Experience working with the Financial Markets Conduct Act and ideally with other relevant legislation and guidance A strong analytical skillset with attention to detail
- Excellent organisation / management skillset
- Comfort working in a highly regulated environment
- Sound communication and relationship building skills articulate written work and experience leading engagements internally and externall
