Job Summary and Responsibilities
Seeking vigilant empathetic individuals to ensure patient safety.This vital role involves ongoing observation of high-risk patients (suicide watch fall risk) through in-person monitoring or camera/monitor technology. Your keen eye and quick thinking will make a profound difference.
What Youll Do:
- Continuous Observation:Maintain constant visible contact or monitor patients for changes in physical emotional or mental conditions.
- Prompt Communication:Immediately relay patient requests and critical observations to assigned staff especially life-threatening actions or changes in activity.
- Safe Environment:Ensure a clean and secure patient area documenting utensil usage.
- Detailed Records:Observe and record all patient activity every 15 minutes.
- Support & Engagement:Provide diversional activities as designated by staff.
- Seamless Handoffs:Give and receive accurate reports to ensure continuity of care.
This role providesdirect and indirect patient careacrossall age groups(Infancy to Later Life).
Shift: Casual Part-Time Varied; 12 Hour Shifts
