1Chevron is accepting online applications for the Aviation Assistant - Aircraft Parts Coordinator position through 11/15/2025 at 11:59 p.m. (CST).
Stockroom support for an FAA helicopter operation and maintenance organization. This position is responsible for coordinating the movement of parts materials and equipment relating to the aviation stockroom and procurement operations specific to aviation and aircraft maintenance. Working knowledge of WinAir aircraft maintenance and inventory software preferred.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Pulling parts and materials from the warehouses for maintenance personnel on an as needed basis
Coordinating with maintenance team service providers and suppliers for daily and after-hours AOG support
Ordering planning shipping storing and stocking shelves. Tracking shelf life limits and expiration dates
Receiving parts and materials frequently throughout the work day
Review of incoming parts and material documentation for accuracy and completeness before presenting to inspection department
Arranging base to base transfers to include coordination with FedEx UPS and hot-shot vendors
Managing the min/max levels of critical spares for a fleet of three different aircraft types
Participating in inventory counts periodically throughout the year
Operating forklifts pallet jacks basic hand and power tools
Tracking company vehicles (signing them in and out)
Maintaining the stockrooms and associated warehouses in a neat and orderly fashion
Participation in daily toolbox meetings and weekly look-forward meetings to determine scheduled and unscheduled priorities
Compliance with all Chevron best practices regarding safety to include PPE and Human Factors
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers license
Experience with Microsoft Office products
Good written and verbal communications skills
This is a safety sensitive position - all applicants must pass pre-employment physical examinations drug screen and background security checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Three or more years experience providing logistics support for an aircraft maintenance and operations organization
Experience with WinAir Aviation Maintenance and Inventory Program
Experience with Air Maestro Operations and Safety Aviation Management software
Experience or training on the handling of Dangerous Goods
