PrePare Family Practitioner - fixed term until30/06/2026

Salary: 33287 - 39129 (pro-rata for part-time)
Hours: 33 per week 52 weeks
The post-holder will undertake the full range of duties working with children who need protection are Looked After or are children in need with their families/carers. They will work in a strengths based and restorative ways to get alongside children families and carers to build positive relationships identify outcomes they need to keep children safe and put in place plans which improve wellbeing for children and their families/carers.
The posts are located in the PrePare Team a multi-disciplinary team in partnership with NHS Lothian Health and Social Care and Communities and Families. The aim is to work with families who have been affected by addiction during pregnancy and within the childs first two years.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. Anunconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
