A classroom vision - Year 3 Teacher
The Year 3 Teacher creates engaging knowledge-rich lessons that develop pupils reading stamina mathematical reasoning and scientific curiosity. The Year 3 Teacher will design practical investigations lead vocabulary-rich topics and ensure strong classroom routines so every child can access the curriculum. The Year 3 Teacher will prepare resources and assessment materials prior to January 2026 and lead lessons from January 2026.
Year 3 Teacher Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality English and mathematics as the Year 3 Teacher.
Lead foundation topic work and practical science as the Year 3 Teacher.
Use assessment to personalise learning and run targeted interventions as the Year 3 Teacher. The Year 3 Teacher will be expected to support moderation and transition activities after January 2026.
Year 3 Teacher Requirements
We seek a Year 3 Teacher with QTS/PGCE (or equivalent) secure KS2 practice and clear behaviour strategies. The Year 3 Teacher must be available for pre-term planning prior to January 2026 induction in January 2026 and to begin teaching from January 2026.
