Intra Operative Technologist - Location: Dallas TX 75246

Job Summary:
The Intra Operative Technologist performs intraoperative imaging procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients under the general supervision of a Radiologist. This role supports physicians and surgical teams in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and injury by producing high-quality intraoperative images in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform intraoperative imaging procedures as requested by physicians and licensed providers.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and patient safety.
- Prepare patients for procedures explaining the process and ensuring comfort and understanding.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons radiologists and other healthcare professionals in the operating room environment.
- Adhere to sterile techniques and infection control protocols during all procedures.
- Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and accuracy; repeat procedures when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and ensure compliance with hospital and departmental policies.
- Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to maintain certification and technical competency.
- Assist with equipment setup calibration and troubleshooting when necessary.
Education:
- Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
Experience:
- Intraoperative imaging experience preferred but not required.
Certification / Licensure / Registration:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- ARRT (R) Certification required; must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography.
- Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) License required.
