Pay Rate: $12 - $16/hr; (Negotiable based on experience)
Shifts Available:
- 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
- 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
- 11:00 PM 7:00 AM
Job Summary:
The PRN Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides compassionate patient-centered care to residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures. The CNA assists nursing staff in the delivery of basic care promotes resident comfort and safety and ensures adherence to infection control and safety standards. This is an as-needed position offering flexibility in scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming toileting and feeding.
- Monitor and document vital signs intake/output and any changes in resident condition.
- Provide compassionate support and companionship to residents.
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning of residents to prevent falls and pressure injuries.
- Maintain a clean safe and comfortable environment for residents.
- Report any resident concerns unusual conditions or incidents to the nursing staff promptly.
- Follow infection control protocols including proper hand hygiene and use of PPE.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality resident care.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Jersey.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Minimum 6 months of CNA experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays as needed.
