Litigation Attorney
We are seeking a dedicated and accomplished Litigation Attorney with strong experience in personal injury law to join our legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful cases advocate for clients and play a key role in litigation strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will be confident in negotiation legal research drafting and courtroom representation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in litigation matters including hearings mediations and court proceedings.
- Conduct detailed legal research using platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case analysis and preparation.
- Draft high-quality legal documents such as pleadings briefs motions discovery responses and settlement agreements.
- Negotiate settlements while ensuring the best outcomes and interests of clients.
- Provide clear and informed legal advice to clients regarding case strategy rights and expectations.
- Collaborate with other attorneys paralegals and legal support staff to ensure cohesive case management.
- Maintain accurate documentation and well-organized case files.
- Stay informed on legal developments case law and regulatory changes relevant to litigation and personal injury law.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Demonstrated experience in litigation with specific knowledge of personal injury law.
- Strong proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Excellent legal writing and drafting skills.
- Proven negotiation abilities with successful settlement experience.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Prior experience working in a law firm environment is preferred.
- Ability to type 40 WPM.
