Job Title: Java Microservices Lead

Work Location: Miami FL

Job Type: Temporary Assignment

Work Type: Hybrid (4 Days Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of microservices-based architectures using Java and Spring Boot.
Architect and implement GraphQL APIs for efficient data querying and integration.
Collaborate with product managers architects and DevOps teams to define technical solutions.
Ensure high performance scalability and security of backend systems.
Conduct code reviews enforce best practices and guide junior developers.
Integrate with containerization platforms like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
Drive CI/CD implementation using tools like Jenkins GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
Troubleshoot production issues and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain technical documentation and contribute to engineering standards.

Required Skills:

8 years of experience in Java development with 3 years in a technical lead role.
Strong proficiency in Java (JDK 17) Spring Boot 3 and Reactive Programming (WebFlux).
Proven experience in Microservices architecture including Kafka Couchbase and RESTful APIs.
Hands-on experience with GraphQL and API schema design.
Familiarity with Docker Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS Azure).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines unit testing (JUnit Mockito) and SonarQube.
Strong understanding of design patterns low-level design and system architecture.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
