Title: Network Engineer

Duration: 6 Month contract to hire

Location: Columbia MD

Rate: $50/hr - $55/hr

Requirements:

Overview

Seeking a motivated hands-on Network Engineer to join a small fast-paced infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in networking and a proactive attitude toward learning and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Support and maintain core network infrastructure including routers switches and firewalls.
Manage and troubleshoot Cisco devices (routers switches Nexus).
Work with Meraki firewalls wireless networks and Zscaler technologies.
Collaborate with engineers to ensure high network performance and reliability.
Visit local data centers as needed for maintenance and upgrades.

Qualifications

Strong networking fundamentals: switching routing and infrastructure management.
Hands-on Cisco experience (routers switches Nexus).
Experience with Meraki firewalls wireless networks and Zscaler (required).
F5 experience is a plus.
Certifications (CCNA CCNP) and degree preferred but not required.
Self-driven adaptable and eager to grow in a dynamic environment.
