WHAT YOULL DO:

You will be a strong individual contributor to a development team building a high-quality software product. These products are leveraging Firm IP to deliver impact to our clients either during client study or to sustain good practices developed during the engagement.

Youll be writing cloud-native software for the development of B2B (enterprise) products for the use of our clients. As part of a development team youll be expected to take the lead of specific technical development components and influence the product design and technical architectures based on your experience. You will use your skills to deliver mature well tested software that meets high standards for maintainable adaptable scalable and secure software.

You will be an active learner identifying new open source libraries and approaches to solve complex problems and youll have the opportunity to use unfamiliar technologies and learn new programming languages to meet technical requirements. You will leverage your strong understanding of key agile engineering practices to model ideal participation within agile teams and contribute to growing and improving our engineering practices.

You will also contribute code and participate in code reviews facilitate breaking down user stories into technical tasks and help manage the process by which code is delivered and its quality. At times you will need to provide advanced debugging and support for production/live software deployments. Furthermore youll communicate technical and delivery risks to the team and escalate to management when appropriate.

Youll work with the Ops Tech Enablement team in the biggest functional practice in the Firm focusing on client operations (e.g. supply chain procurement product development) improvement.

Ops Tech Enablement team supports a portfolio of 12 successful assets leveraging benchmarking capabilities machine learning and data visualization to provide insights on client situation and performance. You will join our community mixing people with business and technical background.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent area
6 years of experience in Software Engineering
Experience with building B2B and consumer quality products enabling business capability and objectives through technology
Hands-on skills working with SQL and No-SQL databases
Strong application development skills including experience in modern technology languages such Python C# and Typescript additional familiarity with frameworks like React
Experience in implementing cloud-native software solutions on AWS Azure and/or GCP with hands-on experience debugging complex distributed systems using cloud-native observability tooling experience with cloud-native architecture design a plus
Experience in developing software utilizing both serverless (e.g. Lambda Azure Functions) and container (e.g. Docker / Kubernetes) technologies
Experience in engineering practices such as code refactoring test driven development design driven development continuous integration building highly scalable applications application security and building maintainable code
Experience in implementing GenAI capabilities with cloud-native software using modern frameworks (e.g. langchain lammaindex) a plus
Knowledge of Agile software development process
Familiarity with testing frameworks such as RSpec JUnit or Selenium
Familiarity with continuous integration tools and approaches
Strong analytical and problem solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions
Able to work under competing priorities manage expectations effectively and support the team under pressure
Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changes common in early-stage product development
Distinct customer focus and quality mindset
Passion in learning latest technologies balanced with pragmatic approaches to implementations
Strong command of English language (both verbal and written)
