Job Summary
Control Room Operators Grade A and B.
A vacancyexists foraControl Room Operatorstationedbasedat the Secunda Branch. The position willreportto main purpose of the position is to ensure Surveillance operations and report on it.
Requirement:
- PSIRA grade B/A renewed.
- Have at least3-5yearsControl Room environment experience actively working as an Operator.
- Fully computer literate (Outlook Excel Word Whats App) andhas the ability towork their way around and understand when being taught how to use other software programs.
- Good administrative skills.
- Security Experience Observe act and report.
- Excellent Observation and reporting skills.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Contactable references.
- No criminal record (This will be verified)
- Reliable and sober habits.
Main duties & Responsibilities:
- Establish and sustain effective risk management.
- Establishment and maintenance of an effective information network to investigate prioritizedcrime threats.
- Establish and sustain an effective risk management process inallocatedmicro workenvironmenttoidentifyand reduce crime enabling factors.
- Complying withStandard Operating Procedures of the Site.
- Managing all aspects of the control room.
- Updating the incidentregisteron a daily basis.
- Able to exercise andmaintaindiscipline.
