As an HR Advisory Support Analyst within our Human Resources team you will provide essential support in delivering the HR agenda in Sub-Saharan Africa. You will mainly support the HR Country Head in coordinating any HR-related activities on the ground and you will also collaborate with EDSE/HR Central teams/COEs to support operational activities. This role provides the opportunity to expand your knowledge of HR matters manage multiple tasks navigate a global matrix organization and handle confidential information with care.
Job responsibilities
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources with knowledge of South Africa-specific labour law and practices. Good knowledge and experience with South Africa diversity legislation i.e. Employment Equity Act and BBBEE Act is required.
- Fluent inEnglish
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Proficient in Word Excel and PowerPoint; system navigation skills. HR systems proficiency required eg. Workday Oracle.
- Strong reporting and data analysis background.
- Critical thinking analytical skills and proactivity to identify issues and propose solutions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Customer service-oriented with strong communication skills
- Capability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines remaining flexible to manage priorities
- Comfort with handling confidential information
Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
- Experience in financial services preferred
- Knowledge about other African countries legislation and landscape would be advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
