Job Summary
House is accepting applications for PRN Cook positions and PRN Dietaryaide positions. PRN is as needed. The work schedule is rotating days forour morning and evening shifts.
COOK JOB SUMMARY
TheCook is responsible for the preparation and serving of the residents mealsusingproper food the absence of the Food Service Manager thecook on duty is the person in charge of thedepartment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Cook is responsible for the preparation of the meal according to the menuandcensus.
Cook is responsible for the supervision of dietary aides in the absence oftheFood Service Manager.
Cook is responsible for the set-up of paperwork for new residents in Managersabsence.
EDUCATION
Must be able to read write andfollow oral and written instructions.
QUALIFICATIONS
months experience preferable in institutional food preparation or relatedfield.
able to carry out duties of the Cook (must be able to lift 25pounds).
3.Knowledge of and ability to use Food Serviceequipment.
4.Knowledge of quality food preparation and foodservice.
5.Has appropriate health certificate as requiredby local state and federalhealthdepartments.
6.Adheres to all company policies and performstasks in a timely and efficientmannerconsistent with stated objectives.

DIETARY AIDE JOB SUMMARY
TheDietary Aide performs a variety of tasks including maintenance of kitchensanitation food preparation and other duties as assigned.
TheDietary Aide is responsible to the Food Service Manager and/or the Shift Cook.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Has the ability to work well with co-workers.

4.Assists with tray assembly and service.
