Inviting applications for the role of VP AI & Data Lead R&D

In this role you will lead the engineering strategy and execution for our next-generation AI-first SaaS platform Agentic Fabric. Youll shape the architecture culture and growth of a high-performing cross-functional R&D team building scalable cloud-agnostic AI solutions.

Responsibilities:

Craft and continuously refine the north-star strategy for AgenticFabric ensuring tight alignment with company OKRs and product roadmaps.

Define and own the end-to-end AI&data architecture (data mesh feature/vector stores LLMOps workflows governance processes).

Oversee design and delivery of a cloud-agnostic multi-tenant.

Establish engineering standards for prompt and agent development model lifecycle management observability and cost optimization.

Drive buy-versus-build decisions on foundation models and vector-search infrastructure; negotiate vendor contracts where needed.

Hire lead and mentor a high-caliber team spanning AI engineering MLOps data engineering analytics and governance; create career ladders and performance metrics.

Foster a culture of rapid experimentation coupled with rigorous measurement A/B testing and blameless postmortems.

Translate technical capabilities into compelling business value stories; partner with GMs and PMs to embed agents in workflows that drive revenue lift or cost savings.

Evangelize the companys AI vision externally by speaking at industry events nurturing OSS contributions and forging collaborations with research labs and universities.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

Relevantyears leading engineering or data/ML teams ideally in SaaS or platform organizations.

Demonstrated delivery of production AI/ML platforms serving multiple product teams or external customers.

Deep expertise in distributed systems MLOps and data architecture across at least two major clouds.

Proven track record building and scaling multitenant services with strict security and cost boundaries.

Strong command of LLM/agentic technologies: RAG functioncalling evaluation harnesses finetuning/RLHF.

Executivelevel communication skillsable to convince negotiate and translate AI concepts for nontechnical stakeholders.

Experience designing or enforcing AI governance privacy and compliance frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Success launching a monetized developer platform or external AI API.

Leadership in open-source communities patents or peer reviewed AI publications.

Background in FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization for AI workloads.

Experience in regulated industries such as finance healthcare or telecommunications.

Robust professional network within the AI ecosystem (research labs VCs standards bodies).
