Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our healthcare team in California City CA. The ideal candidate will provide clinical counseling psychotherapy and mental health support to patients facing emotional behavioral or psychological challenges. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct individual group and family therapy sessions for clients with diverse mental health needs.
Assess diagnose and develop treatment plans in accordance with clinical standards and ethical guidelines.
Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as CBT DBT trauma-informed care or motivational interviewing.
Collaborate with psychiatrists case managers and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client assessments progress notes and treatment plans.
Educate clients and families on coping strategies emotional regulation and wellness practices.
Participate in regular supervision case reviews and continuing education to stay current with best practices.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA state and federal regulations governing mental health services.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Education:
Masters degree in Social Work Psychology Mental Health Counseling or a closely related clinical field from an accredited institution.
Licensure:
Active LPC LMFT or LCSW license in the State of California (required).
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy counseling or related mental health services.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in crisis intervention trauma-informed care or substance abuse counseling.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for clinical documentation.
Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation and Benefits:
Annual Salary: $110000 - $130000 (based on experience and qualifications)
Schedule: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday
