Job Title: Payroll Processing Technician
Location: Everett WA 98204
Duration: 4 Months Contract
Position Description:
The Payroll Processing Technician handles bi-weekly payroll operations including time entry verification payroll adjustments and hands-on support for employees. This role requires precision confidentiality and smooth communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Enter payroll exception and adjustment data.
- Validate employee timecards and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Answer payroll-related inquiries with professionalism.
- Reconcile payroll deductions and assist with GL transactions.
- Support pay processing for employees on medical or job-related leave.
Required Experience:
- 3 years of payroll-related work.
- Strong MS Excel skills and accurate data entry abilities.
- Understanding of FLSA FMLA and other wage/labor rules.
Preferred:
- Experience with PeopleSoft or UKG/Kronos platforms.
