Position Overview:
Boeing India is currently looking for an Associate Software Engineer Test & Verification to join their team in Bangalore IN. These positions will focus on supporting the design development and completion of test and verification of software products to ensure quality reliability and functionality. Participates in partnering with stakeholders to review and identify software requirements test objectives test strategies and testability. Supports designing test plans cases and scenarios to meet software requirements and specifications. Contributes to the set up and configuration of test environments including hardware software and network configurations to replicate production environments.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop automated/manual Test scenarios to test High Level and Low-Level Software requirements

• Should be able to write functional and nonfunctional test cases test scripts based on the product requirements.

• Develop Software integration test Scripts to verify the correct implementation of High Level requirements.

• Set up end-to-end test environment execute test cases and report test results in the test management tool.

• Ability to understand automation framework write and execute test scripts.

• Establish traceability from SW Requirement and Test.

• Perform peer review on test cases test procedure.

• Be a good team player in the agile team. Candidate should possess excellent communications skills to participate in Requirement/Design/Code/Test reviews have a thorough understanding of version control and software quality attributes such as testability portability and maintainability and enjoy a self-driven and collaborative development approach.

• Be dynamic and support management lead to ensure successful product deliveries.

• Identify communicate and mitigate the Risk issues and Opportunities in a timely manner.

• Participating in SOI (Stage of Involvement) audits

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• A Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION

• Experience in Python scripting.

• Experience in automated/functional and end-to-end testing.

• Good understanding of Linux environment.

• Good Understanding of C and OOPS concept.

• Good understanding of DO-178C process.

• Good to have understanding of Java scripting.

• Exposure to software test automation framework and design.

• Experience in Software integration testing in integration Lab Environment.

• Experience in Requirement management tools like DOORS or similar

• Experience in usage of Configuration management tools like JIRA/Git/TFS/Clear Quest or similar

• Exposure to test automation tools like Selenium or Test Complete will be an added advantage.

• Systems Thinking - Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans and anticipate future events.

• Analytical Skills - Skill and ability to: collect organize synthesize and analyze data; summarize

• findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Develop and maintain relationships / partnerships with customers team members peers and partners to develop collaborative plans and complete projects.

• Demonstrate strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Be fluent in written and spoken English and have high degree of proficiency with MS Office tools to prepare comprehensive reports presentations proposals and Statements of Work.

• Experience in Aerospace/Avionics is a plus.

Typical Education & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering with 5 years of related work experience or Masters degree with 4 years of experience with an equivalent combination of education and experience.
