APARTMENT MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR - Reno NV

About your new Career:
Lewis Apartment Communities seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for its beautiful 306-apartment home community Homecoming at Kiley Ranch located in Reno NV.
The ideal candidate should possess a proven supervisory background along with hands-on experience in all aspects of general residential maintenance. Some of your work will include:
- Management and mentorship of Maintenance and Groundskeeping staff
- Experience in basic carpentry electrical HVAC plumbing painting and appliance (dishwashers washers/dryers etc) installation and repair
- Making ready units for new occupancy
- Proactive communication and interaction with your community manager staff residents and external contractors
- Walking the property with the community manager and/or Regional Director.
- Maintaining units of current residents
- Managing/negotiating with outside vendors and approving invoicing as needed
- Maintaining the leasing office your communitys workshop and all recreation facilities
- Other duties as needed.
Other requirements include:
- Moving and transporting heavy objects as needed
- Bending/stooping/walking repeatedly over time and throughout your community.
- Ascend/descend stairs and ladders as required.
- Ability to exchange information and communicate with Company employees and the general public by speaking/reading/writing English.
YOUR SALARY & PERKS:
Hourly salary for this role is $32/hour without an on-site apartment or $22/hour with a comped two-bedroom on-site apartment. Other benefits include an annual bonus and raise eligibility $100/month cellphone allowance a variety of health benefits to choose from a 401 (k) with company match and more. You will also receive $700 worth of tools to do your job including uniforms training and more.
