The Role

The role of the Senior People & Culture Business Partner is to support the delivery of people and culture programs and initiatives to add value and support the achievement of the overall organisation strategy. The role will partner with leaders to deliver on the IFM strategy through its people. With a strong focus on using people insights to define and drive actionable people plans to deliver business results and coaching leaders to build capability shift culture and drive performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with Executive and Senior business leaders to deliver on IFMs strategy through its people.
  • Utilisation of people data and insights to define and drive actionable people plans to deliver business results
  • Support the design and implementation of organisational design change including change impact and communications strategies and communications.
  • Provide leadership support and coaching with a focus on building leader capability shifting culture and performance.
  • Work with P&C Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to shape the design and delivery of IFMs people strategy to meet business needs
  • Advise and support cyclical people activities including remuneration performance management and development engagement and talent management
  • Act as a change agent to drive and support organisational transformation initiatives. Partner with business leaders P&C COE Change and PMO functions.

Your Background and Experience

  • 8 years experience working in a P&C Business Partner capacity or as a generalist. Financial Services and or Fund Management experience an asset but not required
  • Strong and practical P&C generalist background including recruitment performance management learning and development employee engagement remuneration and rewards and policy
  • Sound knowledge of current employment legislation and to provide advice on emerging issues and trends.
  • Proven ability to partner and influence a wide range of stakeholders coupled with commercial acumen to deliver business results
  • A track record in leading complex change programs that deliver measurable outcomes
  • Well-developed project management skills and time management skills
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to confidential issues and a commitment to timely service delivery.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including communication (verbal and written) collaboration negotiation coaching and conflict resolution.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Business and/or a related discipline
