The Opportunity:

We have opportunities for casual Registered Nurses Enrolled Nurses to join our Anglican Care aged care services in Woongarrah NSW - Warnervale Gardens. You will have the ability to act as a team leader and mentor at ward level participating in effective teamwork and maintaining communication with colleagues to promote collaboration and facilitate the coordination of person-centred care. Your strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills will prove invaluable as you work collaboratively with a range of staff.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Experience in palliative care knowledge ofAN-ACC and providing high quality care of the ageing people
• Demonstrated experience in leadership of employees
• Excellent time management an ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Current Drivers Licence

About you

• Registered Nurse with current registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Proven ability to deliver person centre care that respects the dignity and worth of the individual.
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement)
• Able to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
• National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
