This position is responsible for developing and maintaining performance improvement initiatives and ongoing communication with physicians and administration regarding productivity profit and loss patient satisfaction and population health initiatives. Supports leaders and staff in applying performance excellence and quality improvement principles and methods to improve organizational performance. Support for leaders includes analysis of current performance to determine areas of strength and opportunities for improvement comparison with best practices and national standards while submitting reports and analysis as requested. Assist with physician employment contracts as well as vendor contract review and management.
1. Performance Expectations:
a. Creates and implements process improvements associated with patient satisfaction Mychart patient portal and population health management.
b. Researches and stays current with market data related to physician compensation and clinic operations.
c. Coordinates monthly publication of Newsletter and distributes to all staff.
d. Exemplary communication abilities to interview medical professionals and administrators to assess their concerns and develop mutually attractive solutions.
e. Demonstrates knowledge of emerging medical trends and technologies
f. Builds and maintains relationships with providers and staff
g. Creates monthly physician dashboards incorporating compensation financial and quality data points.
h. Formulates strategies and implements programs to educate build and enhance relationships with providers and staff within the group.
i. Provides information to physicians on new services programs specialty services or important changes.
j. Prepares bonus payments and other financial documents according to contract schedule.
k. Provides problem resolution customer service support and service recovery to physician/practices and patients with regard to population health software and EPIC patient portal.
l. Responsible for website and marketing; identifying needs and potential growth opportunities.
m. Monitors patient satisfaction scores and reports; identifies areas of weak performance and service issues; develops corrective action to improve performance
n. Identifies opportunities to improve efficiencies for providers in the group.
o. Organizes/facilitates meetings and events between administration physicians and staff.
p. Supports administration in compensation/contract review and management.
q. Supports physician recruiter on special projects.
r. Provides decision support as well as data analytics to administrator upon request.
s. Responsible for growth and support of executive and community wellness programs.
2. OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
a. Consistently performs 12 organizational Service Standards focused on Values Service and Quality.
3. Community Partners/Marketing
a. Collaborates with businesses in the community to extend services.
b. Provides necessary information to marketing team to assist in the growth and development of providers and programs.
c. Responsible for maintaining frequent communication with local businesses and community partners to ensure satisfaction of services.
4. Data Review/Analysis
a. Responsible for development of monthly physician dashboards focusing on WRVU calculations as well as correctness of procedure codes and charges.
b. Responsible for providing analysis on all dashboards and WRVU reports. Ensures that reports/dashboards are clear and accurate based on best practices for such reporting.
c. Responsible for compiling all data for bonus submission. Must ensure all needed documentation is present and that all items are prepared for administrator approval.
d. Solicits data collected by others as required for various projects or reports requested by administration.
Experience:3 years of healthcare experience or a Masters Degree and 1 year of healthcare experience. Previous healthcare experience dealing with process improvement or change.
Education:Bachelors Degree from an accredited University
Training Lean/Six Sigma Yellow Belt or other process improvement certifications
Special Skills:Proficient in Microsoft applications. Must have strong writing and speaking skills. Demonstrated leadership skills including effective communication - both written and verbal.
Licensure/Certification: Lean Six Sigma yellow belt or higher; Good interpersonal/human relations skills oral and written communication skills problem solving and critical thinking skills and time management/prioritization skills
