About the role He Aha Te Tūranga
At nib were on a mission to help people enjoy better health and build more sustainable communities. As we continue to evolve our digital and technology capabilities were searching for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead the way in embedding quality across our products and platforms.
As a Senior QA Engineer youll play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality performance and reliability. Youll work closely with cross-functional teamsincluding engineers analysts and designersto define test strategies drive automation and provide insights that shape the user experience.
Lead the development and execution of test strategies that build quality into every stage of delivery
Champion automation and continuous testing practices driving improvements across the QA function
Collaborate with product owners engineers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure solutions are robust and fit for purpose
Support mentor and guide QA team members to grow capability and maintain consistency in testing standards
Partner with teams across nib to enhance release processes and ensure smooth high-quality deployments
About you Ko Wai Koe
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment loves solving complex problems and takes pride in delivering exceptional software that makes a real difference to peoples lives.
5 years experience as a QA Engineer or Developer with a strong understanding of TDD BDD and continuous integration
Deep experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium TestCafe SpecFlow NUnit Jest Mocha)
Hands-on experience testing SQL Web API or similar technology stacks
A strategic approach to testing able to design execute and continuously improve QA processes
Strong collaboration and communication skills with a genuine passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing
Bonus: Experience with AWS NoSQL databases or professional QA certification
