Job Summary

Description:
The Leavenworth School Districts Human Resources Department is offering a paid summer internship program. This opportunity will give a real-world perspective upon which to base future career choices and enhance college applications/resumes. This is an ideal summer work experience for those interested in learning more about human resources.

The team of summer interns will work closely with professionalHuman Resources team and other adminstration. Interns will offer an important student perspective to complement the districts Human Resourcesplanning and provide support to ongoing activities throughout the summer break. Interns will have opportunities to help produce materials and publications for upcoming school yearprepare materials for new staff assist with specialevents andsupportwith general office duties.

Schedule and Details:

$12.50/per hour
Location:Leavenworth Board of Education
Schedule: 30 hour average per week;7:30 am 4pm (with1/2 hour lunch break)
Work schedules can be flexible to accommodate educationalobligations.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria:

Strong organizational and communications skills (face-to-face phone writing)
