Job Summary

Village Green with over 25 years of experience is a locally owned company with four office locations in Saint Paul New Brighton Brooklyn Park and Savage.
We are looking for Mechanics who specialize in repair & maintenance for our fleet of trucks & equipment.
Winter Hours: Flexible schedule (40 hours per week).
Spring to Fall Hours: Set Schedule
Hourly Rate: DOE- $22-$40/ hour DOE
FT Benefit Eligible - medical dental vision disability life PTOESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for our Mechanic :
- Maintain and repair company equipment and vehicles. Our fleet includes: pickup trucks dump trucks semi-trucks skid loaders front end loaders excavators trailers andsmall engine equipment.
- Knowledgeable in brakes suspension cooling light engine work and transmission
- Drivability assessment diagnose sounds check engine lights sensors
- Ability to trouble shoot hydraulic mechanisms such as plows and dump trucks
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and instructions for repair and maintenance of equipment
- Demonstrates ability to problem solve electrical issues 12/24V systems
- Metal Fab/Welding; wire feed and stick
- Performs preventive maintenance inspections
- Demonstrates timely and effective communication- verbal non-verbal and written
- Demonstrates high quality decision making in a fast paced and quickly evolving environment
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Required
- 3 years of mechanic experience
- Valid driver license with a clean driving record
- Own your basic tools company to provide specialty tools
- Must be able to pass a pre- employment drug test.
Preferred
- Class A license (CDL)
