Job Summary
The Creative Services Producer will generate video and digital commercials and promotional advertisements in support of the sales team. They will be expected to operate video cameras to record images for commercials promotional spots and longer form videos for special projects.
The producer will need to have fluency in computer video addition they will need the:
- Ability to support all members of the stations sales team to create effective advertising for customers on multiple platforms.
- Ability to engage with commercial advertisers with patience and a helpful attitude.
- Ability to create digital ads for web use that meet the expectations of advertisers could include multiple updates before the projects completion.
- Plan record and edit video for commercial and promotional efforts with clients either in studio or in outside locations.
- To participate in longer form video shooting and editing for Bridge Street program other special programs and CTV projects.
- Maintain contact with commercial clients during the creative process and keep the sales account executive appraised of project status.
- Confers with other personnel to discuss assignments filming sequences desired effects and shot requirements
- Sets up composes and executes video recordings
- Safely operates video equipment
- Trims edited segments to specified lengths and reassembled segments into sequences that present stories with maximum effect.
- Determines the specific audio and visual effects necessary to complete spots
- Should be familiar with Adobe Photoshop Premiere Pro software to create content that meets the expectations of clients for commercials and the expectations of the station for special projects.
- Selects and combines the most effective shots of each scene to form a logical and smoothly running narrative.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements & Skills:
- High school diploma
- Fluency in English
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and sales executives.
- Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
- Minimum two years experience operating video recording equipment (Depending on market size)
- Proficiency with computers copiers scanners fax machines and other office equipment.
- Proficiency with digital video and still cameras.
- Ability to meet deadlines prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
COMPENSATION - $18 to $21/hour
