Job Summary/Description:
KCRG is seeking a skilled producer with writer/filmmaker/graphic designer experience to write shoot and edit commercials for advertising clients as well as station promotions. Candidate must be a skilled visual storyteller with skills in writing cinematography and Adobe Creative Suite editing programs specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects. This individual is a hands-on producer with interpersonal skills to communicate needs to on-camera individuals to achieve the best production results.
Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work collaboratively with a diverse group of staff
Usage of Adobe Creative Suite and its various programs
Create ideas write scripts and coordinate commercial shoots with both sales staff and advertising clients
Shoot and edit on multiple camera formats
Maintain an ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and locations
Present ideas and gain approval and satisfaction from clients
Practice self-motivation and demonstrate the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously both independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Time management skills and day-to-day project flexibility are required
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Associates degree or higher preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in film production/videography preferred
Ability to communicate both internally with staff and externally with advertising clients
Knowledge and proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite programs
Strong interpersonal skills
Flexibility when it comes to scheduling and on occasion working an evening weekend and/or holiday
Availability to be present at commercial shoot locations and in person for editing
Capable of providing a valid drivers license and the ability to drive company-owned vehicles
