Description

Position Summary:

The Lead Parking Lot Floater is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of parking lot attendants and floaters across multiple lots or zones. This role ensures smooth traffic flow optimal space utilization and excellent customer service. The Lead Floater acts as a mobile support resource filling in where needed and coordinating with team members to maintain safety cleanliness and efficiency.

Pay: $23.50 an hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support parking lot floaters and attendants across assigned areas.
  • Monitor lot capacity and direct traffic to available spaces.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve parking-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with parking policies and procedures.
  • Perform regular inspections of lots for cleanliness safety hazards and signage visibility.
  • Assist with training new floaters and attendants.
  • Report maintenance needs incidents or violations to management.
  • Operate handheld devices or systems for ticketing validation or reporting.
  • Provide coverage for absent staff and adjust staffing as needed.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 12 years of experience in parking operations or customer service.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record (if driving is required).
  • Ability to stand walk and move for extended periods.

Work Schedule:

  • Flexible shifts including evenings weekends and holidays.
  • May require travel between multiple parking lot locations.
