QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Enrolled in University and/or Alternative Certification Program;
and/or Alternative Certification Progam (ACP) assignment to student teach with Cypress Fairbanks ISD
3. Must provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States.
TERMS: Valid for one semester

ONCE STUDENT TEACHING IS COMPLETEand student teacher is released by University and/or Alternative Certification Program to begin substitute teaching candidate may be considered for substitute teacher role.
SUBSTITUTE TEACHER
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be a current student teacher in CFISD for2025-2026school year
2. Bachelors degree or higher from a recognized accredited college or university (Letter of intent from university accepted with transcript commitment date).
3. Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.
5. Experience working with children preferred.
6. Flexible and able to adjust daily routine.
7. Demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Substitutes are employed on an at-will basis and are not considered contractual employees.
SALARY: For Substitute Teaching Only
$110.00/day
FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for implementing the Districts instructional program and educational philosophy in the subject area or grade level designated in accordance with district policies and procedures on a day-to-day basis.
2. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.

Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing stooping bending pulling and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks media equipment desks and other classroom equipment.
