Provide support to Production Continuous Improvement and other functions as needed in the form of audits measurement of parts inspections performing gage studies process capability studies and related activities.
Job Description:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIESAudit specifications to ensure product requirements are must form a partnership with team members and trainers to ensure specification compliance. Review the product to ensure appearance specifications are maintained as detailed by the upholstery sub-upholstery cutting sewing and general tailoring the shipping label to ensure all options as specified are cell coaches in the development of corrective action of process PIA assessments for cell to facilitate any engineering changes in specific style and distribute assessment findings. Identify needs within the work team to include additional training jig fixturing jig repairs or general maintenance issues. Present information to various groups on occasion (Quality meetings etc.)Follows health and safety a clean workstation and production other tasks as REQUIREMENTS:Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above attendance must maintain less than 2 attendance points Two years of experience in validation processes upholstery or equivalent to CQAP level one competence. Color vision. Basic computer skills Beginner level proficiency with Excel data entry table construction basic formula entry graphing Ability to access drawings specifications and all required information and documentation shop floor Ability to enter data into Access and generate reports. Basic math skills addition subtraction multiplication division ratios. Basic algebra preferred. Strong leadership traits must be evident with effective communication and interpersonal skills. Print reading skills ability to interpret various graphs and other statistical data - understand histograms run charts Statistics including Min Mean Max Standard analysis skills (collecting and reporting).Must understand how to utilize various measuring tools (tape measure caliper etc.)Specifications (must be able to identify or locate and know how to use them)OUR PURPOSE:We are La-Z-Boy Incorporated.
