Title: Project Manager 3Location: Hybrid Austin TX (On Site and Telework)
We areseeking an experienced Project Manager 3 to lead the replacement of the Program Integrity Case Tracker (PICT) system. This role will oversee a complex enterprise-level modernization initiative aimed at delivering a scalable efficient and secure system that supports improved functionality and future enhancements. The Project Manager will guide teams using Agile and PMI-based methodologies ensuring alignment with organizational goals timelines and compliance requirements.
Your role:
- Lead the full lifecycle of a large-scale enterprise project using standard project management practices and Agile methodology.
- Oversee design development and implementation activities to ensure deliverables meet business technical and contractual requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans schedules and documentation.
- Identify assess and mitigate project risks; manage contingency plans to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Track progress and report weekly on project milestones budgets and performance metrics.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams business users and executive stakeholders translating complex requirements into actionable steps.
- Lead project team meetings status reviews and presentations to leadership and oversight entities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Provide mentorship transfer knowledge to internal staff and promote continuous improvement in project processes.
- Offer after-hours or on-call support as needed during critical project phases.
What youve got:
- 8 years of Project Management experience in large-scale enterprise implementations.
- 8 years of State of Texas or comparable federal/state government project management experience.
- 8 years of development experience with strong understanding of technology-driven environments.
- Proven ability to apply Agile (Scrum) and PMI-based methodologies to complex projects.
- Exceptional communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
