Job Title: Provider Integration Specialist
Location: Norwood OH 45212
Duration: 16 Weeks (with possible extension)
Shift Options: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM 7:00 AM 5:00 PM 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Provider Integration Specialist to oversee and coordinate all aspects of new provider onboarding and integration within a healthcare network. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless transition for incoming transferring and departing providers by collaborating with multiple departments including medical staff leadership and operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills a positive attitude and experience in physician onboarding or recruitment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end integration of new providers ensuring all administrative operational and logistical needs are met prior to their first day.
Partner with cross-functional departments to coordinate onboarding for new providers as well as transitions for those changing or adding locations.
Manage offboarding processes for departing providers ensuring all necessary documentation benefits information and equipment retrieval are completed.
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously balancing time and attention across competing priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Identify and implement continuous process improvements related to provider integration and onboarding.
Lead project management and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
Maintain strong communication with department leaders ensuring timely completion of all integration tasks.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in process improvement or project management within a healthcare environment.
Proven experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage projects effectively under tight timelines.
Demonstrated professionalism flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Bachelors degree in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in a relevant field.
At least 2.5 years of experience working directly with physicians or advanced practice providers.
Prior experience in physician onboarding or locum recruitment.
