Bresnahan Elementary School is a grade K-3 school. The position is a lead teacher in a substantially separate special education program. We are seeking an energetic creative teacher who strongly believes in a childs right to be educated amongst their peers in the community. The teacher must have the ability to modify the curriculum and materials to address functional academics and life skills. Experience with discrete teaching ABA strategies data collection/progress monitoring behavior management writing IEPs and collaboration with related service providers are all essential. The teacher must also have the ability to collaborate with and lead RBTs and instructional assistants as well as the BCBA. This position requires a candidate who is innovative resourceful and compassionate. Professional ethics and standards are essential and the ability to work effectively with parents and outside providers to ensure consistent programming for students is a priority.
