QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent
Previous office experience
Proficient keyboarding skills
Proficient recordkeeping skills
Knowledge of office equipment
Knowledge and proficiency of various District software systems
Willingness to take initiative and work independently
Ability to communicate with all students staff and various publics with tact courtesy and sensitivity
Demonstrates professionalism
Above average attendance and prior work record
Excellent communication skills oral and written
Exceptional organizational skills detailed-oriented
Excellent attendance record and prior work record
Ability to collect alphabetize and file
Proper grammar and English usage
Excellent human relations skills to establish and maintain positive working relationships and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Ability to take accurate messages
Good proofreading skills
Ability to multi-task
OTHER INFORMATION
Reports to: Building Principal
Work Schedule: 202 days 10-month
Salary Schedule: 32C $20.45 per hour (Based on 25/26 Salary Schedule)
Hours to Work: 8.0 hours per day Monday through Friday
RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer phones and direct calls where needed
Proficiency of District software Infinite Campus to obtain records
Type coorespondence for counselors and others as assigned
Help coordinate special service programs
Responsible for assisting with coordinating of students homework
Assist with student cumulative folders
Accepts additional duties as assigned by the Guidance Director
