Job Summary
Security Agent
You ensure the safety and wellbeing of your fellow employees guests and visitors. You are attentive efficient and committed and will ensure your property remains a safe enjoyable workplace and travel destination.
This is a full-time permanent position starting as soon as possible.
Starting Rate of Pay: $22.40 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $28.10.
Job Duties Include:
- Ensure the overall safety and security of the guests employees and property premises
- Investigate and report any violations to law/property policy occurrences of accidents complaints criminal activity and crisis situations
- Conduct regular floor patrols cash counts and crowd control
- Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
Qualifications :
- Previous security/hospitality experience is required
- OFA level 2 First Aid Certification required
- Previous security/hospitality experience is required
- Class 5 Drivers License is required
- Possess a valid British Columbia Basic Security Training (BST) License
