Job Title: Registered Nurse Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg)

Location: Atlanta GA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: December 1 2025
End Date: February 28 2026
Shift: Nights 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
Pay Rate: Competitive Weekly Gross

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join in Atlanta Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude adaptability and the ability to provide quality care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg patients in accordance with established hospital standards and protocols.
Monitor assess and document patient conditions accurately.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and evaluate individualized care plans.
Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and treatment plans.
Ensure compliance with all infection control and patient safety guidelines.

Unit Details:

Unit Type: Dedicated Education Unit (travel nurses will not be educating; focus is on patient care)
Patient Population: Mixed Med/Surg
Bed Count: 30
Patient Ratio: 1:56

Qualifications:

License: Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
Certifications:
- BLS (required)
- ACLS (preferred)
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience in a Level 1 trauma or mid-to-large hospital setting.
Skills:
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must demonstrate professionalism punctuality and teamwork.
