Job Overview
We are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer - Data Center to join our team in Mumbai on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing next-generation data center infrastructure ensuring power systems reliability and supporting the delivery of industry-leading telecom and digital platform services.
Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in electrical engineering with a proven track record in high-reliability infrastructure projects (Mandatory skill).
- Hands-on experience in designing implementing and troubleshooting data centers to ensure efficiency and uptime (Mandatory skill).
- Demonstrated capability in end-to-end data center design including power distribution and cooling systems (Mandatory skill).
- Proficient in electrical system design voltage regulation and compliance with relevant industry standards and codes.
- Required knowledge of power systems architecture redundancy safety protocols and sustainability best practices.
- Skilled in using design software such as AutoCAD to develop review and optimize electrical layout specifications.
- Strong understanding of equipment selection risk assessment energy efficiency techniques and failure management strategies.
- Excellent analytical documentation and communication skills to liaise with vendors project teams and stakeholders effectively.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced electrical designs for data centers focusing on functionality reliability and scalability.
- Lead the planning and execution of power distribution emergency systems and redundancy solutions for critical infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical solutions with overall network architecture.
- Review and validate engineering drawings and specifications using tools like AutoCAD for accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments oversee quality assurance and ensure adherence to safety standards in all project phases.
- Evaluate new technologies and propose upgrades to improve energy efficiency and operational sustainability.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their technical growth through ongoing knowledge sharing and training.
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation progress reports and project handover materials for management and stakeholders.
