As an Early Career Development Fellow Mechatronics Engineering you will:

  • Develop effective learning materials and activities as part of a design team or with guidance from the Unit Chair and demonstrate awareness of ongoing innovation in curriculum design.
  • Assist in applying industry clinical and/or research practice into student learning experiences success engagement and resources.
  • Deliver effective teaching practices within unit and suggest approaches to innovate teaching practices to improve student success and engagement.
  • Maintain appropriate discipline knowledge and constructively review and refine own teaching practice to help maintain teaching quality standards.
  • This position may require the incumbent to travel domestically and/or internationally to attend conferences events and to represent the university.

To be successful youll have:

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline and other relevant qualifications and experience.
  • Expertise or experience in renewable energy systems including power system control and optimisation are desirable.
  • Excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in UG and/or PG programs including innovative curriculum design.
  • Emerging research and scholarship through publications and/or exhibitions as appropriate to the discipline.
