About Carers WA:
Carers WA is the peak body representing the needs and interests of carers in Western Australia and is part of a national network of Carers Associations providing a range of support services supporting Carers across Western Australia. About the Role:
The Hospital Program Educator is a full-time fixed term position until 30 June 2026. The position attracts a salary package of $80000 p.a. plus super salary packaging 5 weeks annual leave (including 17.5% leave loading on annual leave) and two wellness days per annum. After commencing the role will also have access to a company vehicle.
The role combines office and outreach work engaging directly with clinical allied health and other healthcare staff across WA metropolitan and some regional hospitals to promote the Prepare to Care Program.
The Prepare to Care Program provides education and resources to health staff and carers in hospital settings with the aim to empower and assist carers who are supporting a family member or friend during the various stages of inpatient care and following discharge.
