General Summary:
As a Teller you are the first point of contact for our clients. Through greeting clients building rapport and creating excitement throughout their transaction you are responsible for providing an exceptional client experience. Tellers process basic banking transactions such as: deposits withdrawals payments and transfers in a professional and timely manner. Additionally Tellers are expected to follow policies and operational procedures to ensure the teller line remains compliant. The Teller role is an entry-level position for individuals to learn the financial industry and grow their career.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Interact with clients in a friendly upbeat manner
- Accurately and timely process banking transactions for clients
- Follow all cash handling procedures
- Complete assigned regulatory training
- Strong verbal communication in-person and over the phone
- Accurately balance cash drawer
- Work with Lead Teller to ensure compliance
- Strong attendance and dependability
- Identify solutions for clients problems and escalate to the appropriate staff as needed
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Prior Customer Service experience
- Prior Cash Handling experience
Schedule:
Mondays Wednesdays Fridays and rotating Saturdays (Mondays & Fridays are priority) - at least 25 hrs/week
Physical Demands
- Remaining in a stationary position often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Adjusting or moving objects up to 10 pounds in all directions.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists hands and/or fingers.
- Communicating with others to exchange information
