As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Infrastructure Platforms team you will be a seasoned member of an agile team tasked with designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products that are secure stable and scalable. You will be responsible for implementing critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas supporting various business functions to achieve the firms business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Design develop and operate solutions for a cloud computing platform with integrated security auditability and observability.
- Develop secure high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
- Define and build value-added services on the platform using cloud-native principles.
- Create technical designs for development and integration of new software and system technologies.
- Participate in software and system performance analysis and tuning service capacity planning and demand forecasting.
- Drive technical innovation and efficiency in infrastructure operations by developing tools and automation.
- Adopt cutting-edge technologies and create best-of-breed solutions by researching and evaluating alternative options.
- Evangelize and promote adoption of Service Registry within the developer ecosystem and technical community.
- Support all elements of the Software Development Lifecycle including design development testing and integration.
- Conduct peer code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards.
- Collaborate with global teams to share ideas information and innovation for high-quality software and new product development.
