Were searching for a strategic hands-on Director of Accounting to lead all core accounting operations and partner closely with the CFO on financial strategy planning and execution. This is a high-visibility role where youll influence decisions at the top modernize processes and help guide the company through its next stage of growth.

What Youll Do
- Lead all accounting functions including financial reporting forecasting and day-to-day operations
- Own the treasury function ensuring efficient funding and capital management
- Partner with auditors and external advisors to deliver timely compliant reporting
- Drive improvements across financial systems tools and processes
- Collaborate with executives to shape long-term financial strategies and business plans
- Deliver clear data-driven insights to senior leadership and the Board
- Build and mentor a high-performing accounting team
What You Bring
- 8 years in accounting/finance ideally with a mix of public and private experience
- CPA required with proven leadership of accounting operations
- Experience in financial services lending or fintech a strong advantage
- Strong analytical mindset proficiency in ERP/reporting systems
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills you translate numbers into strategy
- Humble collaborative low-ego leadership style
