We are seeking a motivated Electro Mechanical Technician to join our fast-paced production environment. This role offers hands-on experience with electrical mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems while providing opportunities for growth and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design test and troubleshoot electrical PLC and electronic circuits for machine and equipment control.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
- Install maintain and monitor electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment using schematics blueprints or verbal instructions.
- Perform basic mechanical repairs and dismantle electrical machinery to replace defective parts such as brushes armatures and other components.
- Install motors transformers lighting fixtures panels breakers and conduit according to specifications.
- Ensure electrical equipment operates safely and efficiently; make adjustments or replacements as needed.
- Interpret blueprints sketches and verbal instructions to complete projects accurately.
- Collaborate with team members and may direct work of lower-class technicians.
- Perform a variety of tasks as assigned by the Group Leader.
Qualifications
- Two-year Associate degree in Electrical Mechanical or related field.
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical mechanical hydraulic or pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency in using computers to search for parts and log work in a CMMS.
- Experience reading and interpreting schematics blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods sit bend stoop and perform manual tasks.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must pass pre-employment physical drug screen and background check.
