About the Role
As a Senior Data Scientist specialising in causal inference and measurement you will design build and deploy frameworks for evaluating the causal impact of pricing marketing and product initiatives. Youll work with advanced statistical and econometric methods (such as experiment design quasi-experimental methods and machine-learning-augmented causal models) to generate insights that guide strategy and deliver measurable business outcomes. Collaboration with product engineering and business stakeholders is key with a focus on turning analytical insight into actionable solutions.
Requirements
- Masters degree or PhD in Statistics Econometrics Mathematics Computer Science or other quantitative discipline.
- Minimum 5 years experience in data science with a focus on causal inference and measurement ideally in pricing revenue management or marketing-analytics domains.
- Strong programming skills in Python (or R) and advanced use of SQL; familiarity with tools for experiment design and causal modelling.
- Demonstrable expertise in causal inference methods (e.g. difference-in-differences synthetic controls instrumental variables double machine learning).
- Experience with algorithm/tool development for production-scale deployment of analytical models.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management ability: able to convey complex methods to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Ability to operate in a hybrid or flexible work setting in Lisbon Portugal.
