Were looking for a skilled SAP Basis Administrator to join our on-site team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability performance and integrity of SAP systems across development testing and production landscapes. This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical enterprise environments with exposure to global teams and cutting-edge SAP technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- System installation and configuration: Install configure and upgrade SAP software and services in development test and production environments.
- Performance monitoring and tuning: Monitor system health analyze performance issues and implement optimizations to ensure the SAP landscape runs efficiently.
- Daily maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance tasks including managing user access security roles and system backups.
- Transport management: Administer the SAP transport system to move configuration and development objects between different system landscapes.
- Troubleshooting and support: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure system availability and provide technical support to end-users.
- Upgrades and patching: Apply software updates security patches and kernel upgrades to keep the system up-to-date and secure.
- Disaster recovery: Support and develop backup recovery and high availability/disaster recovery (HA/DR) strategies.
- Collaboration: Work with IT and business teams functional teams and other developers to ensure successful project delivery and system integrity.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Demonstrated hands-on experience with SAP Basis administration.

Strong understanding of SAP architecture infrastructure and components (e.g. ECC S/4HANA Solution Manager PI/PO BW etc.).

Experience working with databases (e.g. HANA Oracle SQL Server) and operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows).

Knowledge of SAP transport system management.

Familiarity with system performance tuning optimization and root cause analysis.

Strong problem-solving analytical and communication skills.

Ability to work under minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience in SAP HANA administration and SAP Solution Manager (SolMan).

Knowledge of SAP security concepts and user authorization management.

Experience with system monitoring tools and alert configurations.

Exposure to cloud environments (AWS Azure or GCP) for SAP system hosting.

Familiarity with SAP upgrades migrations or implementation projects.
Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

3 - 6 years of relevant experience in SAP Basis administration preferably in enterprise-scale environments.
