About the Job:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our clients global Cloud Operations team. This role focuses on delivering reliable scalable and secure cloud infrastructure across public and multi-cloud environments with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure. You will provide advanced Level 3 systems support build and maintain Azure environments and ensure operational excellence across cloud services. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams implementing automation and Infrastructure-as-Code practices and continuously improving service delivery in line with ITIL standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong Azure infrastructure expertise exceptional troubleshooting abilities and a proactive approach to driving service and process improvements. Beyond technical support you will play an active role in mentoring peers managing customer engagements and contributing to strategic discussions that shape the future direction of cloud operations and services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
• 5 years of progressive experience in systems engineering cloud operations or infrastructure engineering / 3 years for a Mid-level vacancy
• 2 years of solid hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure infrastructure management and deployment.
• Expertise in scripting automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as PowerShell Python or Terraform.
• Solid understanding of DevOps and GitOps principles.
• Experience working within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or enterprise IT support structure.
• Knowledge of ITIL framework and experience in incident problem and change management processes.
• Proficiency in Azure Active Directory networking and infrastructure configuration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across global teams.

Preferred:

• Experience with AWS infrastructure management or hybrid multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with automation pipelines CI/CD and cloud-native DevOps practices.
• Exposure to Linux Kubernetes or cloud security best practices.
• Demonstrated experience providing mentorship or leadership within technical teams.
• Can start immediately if possible.
