About the role:
This role is highly sales-oriented focusing on securing funding through CSR partnerships institutional grants and government Request for Proposals (RFPs). The ideal candidate will leverage strong networking skills and relationship management to achieve significant growth and drive educational impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising & Resource Mobilization:
- Target Achievement: Independently achieve and exceed an annual fundraising target of 1 Crore or more through diverse funding streams.
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify engage and pitch to potential corporate partners (CSR) foundations and government entities.
- Proposal Development: Develop compelling impact-driven proposals presentations and reports tailored to donor requirements.
- Government Tenders: Track analyze and respond to relevant government tenders (RFPs Expression of Interests) to expand public funding opportunities.
Outreach & Partner Management:
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong long-term relationships with key stakeholders including CSR heads government officials and grant-making organizations.
- Proactive Engagement: Actively conduct outreach (cold calling emailing meetings) to generate new leads and successfully close funding agreements.
- Stewardship: Ensure timely and accurate financial and programmatic reporting to sustain long-term partnerships.
- Networking Support: Assist in organizing and representing the organization at donor meetings conferences and networking events.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience: 2 years of relevant experience in fundraising partnerships business development or account management.
- Track Record: Proven ability to independently raise 1 Crore in funding.
- Drive: Must be a proactive go-getter who is comfortable with outreach cold calling and sales-focused efforts.
- Skills: Excellent communication public speaking and proposal writing skills.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as required to engage with partners and stakeholders.
