About the Opportunity:
Telum is sourcing highly capable role players to support aSOF training exercise. The exercise environment replicates real-world operational conditions (urban / rural multi-day day/night working with UAS/OPFOR/hostile environment simulation) and demands flexible professional mission-focused individuals. Personnel will portray civilians high-value targets hostiles detainees and other key scenario roles to enhance realism and support critical mission-readiness objectives.
- Status:Position contingent on contract award
- Dates: Approx. 1723 November 2025
- Clearance Requirement: U.S. Citizen ability to obtain SECRET (ACCM) clearance or equivalent screening
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen (or legal resident with work authorization)
- Minimum age 18; good physical condition and comfortable operating in outdoor night conditions.
- Ability to follow direction from Exercise Control Group (ECG) and Site Leads.
- No felony record or pending criminal charges
- Willingness to sign Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and undergo Army background check (NIAC or equivalent).
- Must complete basic installation access training (AT Level I iWATCH OPSEC awareness)
- Able to wear required PPE (eye protection gas mask provided no latex allergies)
Preferred Experience
- Prior SOF / DoD exercise support or training role player experience.
- Familiarity with force-on-force training (UTM / Simunition / blank fire environments).
- Comfortable around working dogs (K9) and non-lethal training pyrotechnics.
- Experience as an actor interpreter military veteran or first responder a plus.
- FAA Part 107 certificate desirable for those supporting UAS cells
What to Expect
- Night operations (approx. ).
- Work performed outdoors in urban and industrial settings.
- Dynamic scenarios with military working dogs pyro and blank/UTM fire.
- Professional conduct required at all times contractors represent the exercise not the U.S. Government.
- May be recorded for training (A/V consent required).
Compensation & Support
- Competitive daily rate (DOE) covered lodging and meals while on duty.
- Travel per Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) authorized for non-local hires.
- All equipment and uniforms issued by contractor (e.g. fatigues garb safety gear).
- Full support and coordination by Telum PMO staff on-site.
