Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise off-loading placement and assembly of heat-treat equipment at customer sites.

Perform check-out/commissioning of mechanical electrical combustion and piping subsystems to ensure safe compliant operation per drawings O&M instructions vendor literature and specs.

Lead issue resolution for non-contractual customer/contractor matters; document problems field revisions and verification results.

Assist initial operation and testing of processes performed by the equipment.

Train customer personnel on safe efficient operation and maintenance.

Provide frequent progress reports and checklists including target dates and open issues.

Collect and submit all changed parameters and commissioning data.

Travel: domestic and international; 95% travel required.

Requirements:

Preferred: 5 years furnace/equipment set-up and start-up experience.

Technical degree desirable (not mandatory).

Strong mechanical aptitude with welding experience.

Hands-on troubleshooting across electrical mechanical combustion and piping systems.

Good working knowledge of industrial electrical control systems.

Ability to travel domestically and internationally (95%).

Commutable to Wixon MI
